คำอธิบายรายวิชา 

แนวคิด หลักการพยาบาลมารดาทารกและผดุงครรภ์ในการดูแลมารดาทารกที่มี ภาวะเสี่ยง ภาวะแทรกซ้อนระยะตั้งครรภ์ ระยะคลอด และระยะหลังคลอด การใช้ยาทางสูติศาสตร์การ ช่วยทำสูติศาสตร์หัตถการ โดยใช้กระบวนการพยาบาลในการดูแลอย่างเป็นองค์รวม คำนึงถึงความ ปลอดภัย ประเด็นกฎหมายและจริยธรรมที่เกี่ยวข้อง และการผสมผสานภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น 

Concepts, principles of maternal-newborn nursing and midwifery in providing care for women and their newborns having health risks, complications during pregnancy, labor and postpartum periods; using medication in obstetrics, assistance obstetric procedures; utilizing nursing process in holistic care, concerning to safety, the law and ethical issues involved and integration of local wisdom
